About SINA
A new, nonpartisan association of the oceanfront buildings of Sunny Isles Beach.
Who we are
The Sunny Isles Neighborhood Association, Inc. (SINA) is a Florida not-for-profit corporation, organized for charitable and educational purposes. It brings together the condominium associations and hotels along the oceanfront of Sunny Isles Beach, from 15645 to 19575 Collins Avenue.
Its purpose is to give the community an organized, informed voice, and a way to work constructively with the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Miami-Dade County, and the State of Florida.
SINA serves the broader Sunny Isles Beach community. It also welcomes collaboration with condominiums, hotels, businesses, and neighborhood associations outside its area.
SINA is newly formed. Its founding board is being seated and membership is just opening.

How SINA works
Membership
Members are organizations, not individuals: condominium associations controlled by their unit owners, and hotels, within SINA’s area. Each member names one Representative and one Alternate from its board, approved in writing by that board. Each member has one vote. Member votes are advisory, except in board elections.
Board and officers
A volunteer Board of Directors of three to five directors, serving staggered two-year terms. The association has four Executive Officers: President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer.
Meetings
The board meets at least once each quarter. Members meet in person for the annual meeting each April.
Working groups and committees
The board can form working groups and standing committees on specific issues. Member representatives can take part in an advisory role.
Leadership
The founding board is being formed. Directors’ names will be published here once they are seated.
Nonpartisan
SINA is nonpartisan. It does not support or oppose any candidate for public office. It works with officials at every level of government, in the public interest, to inform and represent the community it serves.
